WalkerPeter Walker

National Director

Peter joined the team as National Director in March 2011. He has extensive management experience gained in the voluntary and community, commercial and public sectors. Using knowledge gained during 10 years as a senior manager at the London Stock Exchange, he has been involved in leadership roles in the charity sector since 1992. Immediately prior to joining The Leprosy Mission England and Wales, he was Executive Director of an international Christian charity recognised as pre-eminent within its field. Peter is active in his local church, is married to Sue and they have two adult children.


Zoë Bunter

Head of Mission Development

Zoë has worked within the not-for-profit sector for 13 years prior to joining The Leprosy Mission England and Wales in April 2014. Having held fundraising leadership roles for more than six years, Zoë is passionate about enabling supporters to give financially to bless people in need around the world. She has wide-ranging experience from working in charities that help children in distress, adults with major health problems and disabilities, and wildlife. Most recently she was a director at a Christian international mission and development charity called ‘Us’. Zoë is a member of her local church and an occasional preacher. She is active in women’s ministry.


ArulananthamSiân Arulanantham

Head of Programmes Coordination

Siân has more than 15 years’ experience in the development and education sectors, working across Africa and Asia. She has responsibility for managing the Programmes team, ensuring the Mission’s programmes are of high quality and have significant impact on the lives of people affected by leprosy. She also heads up overseas institutional fundraising.

She is actively involved in advocacy on leprosy and disability rights, and is on the steering group of Bond’s Disability and Development Group.


GaryGary Dransfield

Office Manager

Gary joined The Leprosy Mission England and Wales as Office Manager in December 2012. He comes with extensive experience and skills acquired in both the IT industry and the voluntary sector. He previously held the position of Service Manager at Cambridge Mediation where he was responsible for the operational running of the charity including staff and volunteer management. Prior to this he worked in contracts and software licensing and business development at AVEVA.
