Catherine Benbow
Catherine became a trustee of The Leprosy Mission England & Wales in February 2006. Previously she worked overseas for The Leprosy Mission focusing on disability related aspects of leprosy in East Timor, India, Ethiopia and other countries, for thirteen years. Her work was either staff training or getting alongside people with disabilities to help them take charge of their problems. She is an occupational therapist and before going overseas worked for the NHS in Shropshire, her home county.
