MEET THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM

 

Rupert Haydock
National Director


Rupert, was called into international development over 30 years ago.  After an extensive career in the non-governmental organisations, government and private sectors, he joined The Leprosy Mission as National Director in November 2007.  Rupert has worked in a wide range of areas such as agriculture; health and social services; governance; economic development; community, rural and institutional capacity development in a number of countries. Rupert has also spent seven years living overseas with his family whilst working as an economist for the Overseas Development Administration (now the department for international development - DFID) in the Falkland Islands and in community and organisational development with Tearfund UK in Burkina Faso.

Keith Nicholson
Director of Finance and Administration/Deputy National Director


Keith has worked for The Leprosy Mission for over twenty years and has responsibility for the Finance and Administration Team.  Their role includes overseeing all the finance related tasks required under charitable law, to the thanking and banking of donations from supporters.  Keith is also responsible for all the information technology and administration required to support all the activities in the organisation.

Jean Jones
Head of Fundraising and Communications

Jean manages a team whose roles are communications - writing and editing our magazines, newsletters and press releases; organising, writing, print planning and mailing of appeals and other promotional materials; supporter relations, legacy responsibilities and organising events; website development and other resources; management of stamps and collectables.

Marilyn Gregory
Head of Community Fundraising and Volunteering

Having initially worked as an area co-ordinator for The Leprosy Mission in the North West region, Marilyn was appointed to manage our team of area co-ordinators.  Their main role is to communicate the work of The Leprosy Mission to churches and organizations and involve people in fundraising events.  Marilyn organizes attendance at Christian exhibitions and events and also speaks at meetings and services.  A recent appointment to her team has been a volunteer co-ordinator who seeks to encourage people to be a speaker or a fundraiser, help with exhibitions or stamps and collectables.

Sian Arulanantham
Head of Programmes Co-ordination


Sian has responsibility for the programmes team covering institutional, trust and corporate fundraising.  An important part of her role is developing relationships with our implementing partners, ensuring our funds are utilised effectively.  Sian runs training for field staff in project development, monitoring, evaluation and reporting and also oversees the management of projects such as our DFID funded Global Dimensions project, working with UK schools to raise children's awareness of global issues
