Humber Bridge Sponsored Walk of Hope

Make the two mile crossing, or as many as you wish, across the fifth largest single span suspension bridge in the world, near Kingston Upon Hull.
There is enough wire in the suspension cables to circle the Earth nearly twice and it carries an average of 120,000 vehicles each week. Phew - see you there!

Carsington Water, Ashbourne was opened in May 1992 by Her Majesty the Queen and has remained a very popular visitor attraction. It is owned and operated by Severn Trent and is home to local and migrating bird species all year round. Do come and join us in this beautiful part of Derbyshire - why not make it a family day out?
There are walks of one, three and eight miles - all walks are very well signposted. The 2011 car parking price was £4.
