EASTERN REGION

We're pleased to introduce ourselves to you as the area staff of the new East region.  We are looking forward sharing with you our heart and passion for the work of The Leprosy Mission.  It is a great privilege to follow in the footsteps of Jesus and do what he did first as he reached out to people affected by leprosy.

Take a look at our region's pages and all the things we're doing.  Our projects in Myanmar and Mozambique are very exciting and life transforming for those we are helping.  We have planned lots of events and special events, such as the British 10k Run and many Walks of Hope.  Find out how to become a volunteer or a Voice for Leprosy.  If you just want a coffee and chat with friends, then you could hold a Coffee and Care time and support people with leprosy at the same time!

'I have served with The Leprosy Mission for eight years and consider it a great privilege to be part of The Leprosy Mission family.  I love meeting our supporters and my desire is to see the work in our region grow as we build a team of enthusiastic, highly valued volunteers, serving with us in all our churches.

My wife Linda is my constant support and many in my area know her very well as she takes part in many meetings.  I am looking forward to working with Lisa and Matthew and meeting supporters and volunteers in their areas too.'

I'd love to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  I am your new London area co-ordinator.  I started in September 2011 and in the last few months it's been wonderful to meet many of you.   I hope to meet many more of you at some of the great stuff we have planned for London in 2012.
