On 2 July, 17 adults, a baby in a push chair and 3 dogs from the Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and East Midlands area took part in our annual promenade over the Humber river.

Once again the weather was warm and sunny, the views were breathtaking and what a joy it was to share fellowship and fun in this special part of God's own county!

Over £850 was raised for people affected by leprosy through this four mile walk (two miles each way) to help those people living with the effects of leprosy - a huge thank you to all our walkers and of course, their sponsors, for such generosity.

Afterwards, we enjoyed a beautiful summer afternoon relaxing in the warm sunshine on the lawns of the Country Park by the bridge.
