Go Quackers for The Leprosy Mission
Saturday 3 July 2010
Start time varies - local departures
Whalley Abbey, near Clitheroe is set within the ruins of the 14th century Cistercian Monastery and will be the setting for our 21st century fun and games! We will transport your group by coach from your own church if you can get 20 or more - from the nearest church if not. Guided tours of the ruins will be conducted by friends of the Abbey in full Cistercian habit! There will also be interchurch games and an open air service.
The highlight of the day is The Great TLM Duck Race on the River Calder. Your church has been allocated a numbered duck, so please don't disappoint it by not entering it in the race and not sponsoring it generously!
Cost is £18 per person or £40 per family (Team members go free)
