South Wales Walk of Hope
Brecon Beacons Mountain Centre
Saturday 26 June 2010
There are three routes to choose from-three, six and nine miles-and you can decide on the day which one to do. The short walk is easy underfoot and almost all on the level. The other two are a little more challenging, but if you're reasonably fit they shouldn't be a problem. Meet 11am at the Brecon Beacons Mountain Centre, also known as the National Park Visitor Centre, one and a half miles west of Libanus on the A470. Bring a packed lunch for the longer walks. Those on the shorter walk have the option of buying lunch in the Visitor Centre. Good walking shoes or boots recommended.
