Sports + Football World Cup Quiz 2010
1 April 2010 - 1 December 2010

June 2010 sees the start of the FIFA world cup in South Africa.  Why not participate in our Sports Quiz?  The winner will be announced in Together in February 2011 and published here.  The prize is a Marks & Spencer gift voucher.

Please send £2 per quiz sheet downloaded or photocopied, to Allister.  The quiz will be available here for download in time for 1 April.

Brass and Voices for a summer's evening
Saturday 26 June 2010 at 7pm
 

Emmanuel Church, Wylde Green, Birmingham Road, Sutton Coldfield B72 1YG is hosting a special concert by the acclaimed Cambridge Heath Brass of London and the renowned Sutton Coldfield Chamber Choir.  Both of these excellent groups are performing as part of Emmanuel Church's annual flower festival, so you will have the chance to view some of the wonderful flower arrangements!

It promises to be an event not to miss - add it to your diary now!

Tickets are £6 in advance or £7 on the door (if still available).  Concessionary (retired, unemployed and under 16) tickets are £5 from Allister or on the door (if still available).  Proceeds in aid of The Leprosy Mission.


Sutton Park Walk of Hope
Saturday 17 July 2010 from 10am

Join us on 17 July from 10am (starting at visitor information centre near main gate, Park Road, Sutton Coldfield  B74 2YT) for either a 5km or 10km sponsored walk in Sutton Park. Set in 2,400 acres of captivating scenery, it is one of Europe's largest parks.

Malvern's Walk of Hope
Saturday 16 October 2010 from 10am

Join us for a pleasant and moderately easy 4.5 mile walk starting from Upper Wyche village on the B4232 in the gorgeous Malverns.  Parking is on Beacon Road - turning opposite the bus stop.  There are views of five different English counties on this walk!

Male Choir Christmas Celebration
Thursday 2 December 2010 at 7.30pm

Wylde Green United Reformed Church in Britwell Road, Sutton Coldfield, B73 5SW is the venue for carols and music from the famous Warley Male Choir; one of the finest male choirs in the Midlands.

Tickets are £4.50 in advance or £5 on the door (if still available) and will be on sale from October.  Ticket price includes light refreshments .
