Well what a hostess! Cilla was supported at her coffee morning by friends, neighbours, family and Christian friends from several churches in Wolverhampton. We were so busy we lost count of how many attended.

The Lord blessed our efforts with lovely sunshine for the first part of the morning and there were three tables set up on the patio with lots of people chatting, laughing and enjoying her colourful garden.

When the rain started most people moved indoors where as well as a table groaning with homemade cakes, there was a table filled with jewellery that Julie had made and generously donated to raise funds. She raised £80 towards the grand total of £550.50.

Cilia's initial aim was to raise at least £45 to buy one day's worth of food for the patients at Naini hospital, India. I said - tongue in cheek - it would be wonderful to have a week's worth. The Lord blessed us both and provided money for more than 12 days of food.
