Yes, we're doing it again this year. This ever popular 9 mile walk across the sands of Morecambe Bay will start at 11.00am from Hest Bank to Humphrey Head - at low tide of course. It's a fun walk, a fair challenge and a great day out for fellowship and fundraising. Why not get a team together? Encourage your friends and family to Splash Out! for The Leprosy Mission! Humber Bridge Walk of Hope

Walk just one way or make as many crossings over the spectacular Humber Bridge as you can. About 2 miles each way, this is a lovely day out and a memorable walk for people of all ages and abilities. Enjoy the wonderful panoramic views from the wide and spacious walkways on the bridge and finish the day relaxing in the Country Park at the north end of the bridge.

Bolton Abbey Duck Race

Don't miss this big mid-summer's afternoon of fun, fellowship and praise at Bolton Abbey on the beautiful banks of the River Wharfe. Our main fundraising event will be the The Leprosy Mission's Yorkshire Duck Race starting at 2pm. Please sponsor a duck, or get your church or group to sponsor one or more ducks together, and raise vital life-transforming funds for people affected by leprosy. The day will finish with an open-air service of praise and worship at 4.30pm in the abbey grounds next to the Priory Church. A collection will be taken during the service.
The cost is £2.00 to sponsor a duck.

Yorkshire Canal Walk of Hope

The banks of the historic Leeds to Liverpool Canal provide the beautiful scenic backdrop once more for our annual Walk of Hope between Leeds and Skipton. Ideal for people of all ages and families, the total distance is 29 miles for the really adventurous, but of course you can do much, much less. There will be 8 checkpoints along the canal and you can start and finish at any of them and walk in any direction. The route is well served by the Airedale Line train service which will help you get back to your starting point. The cost is £8.00 plus sponsorship
