The Leprosy Mission England and Wales is based in Peterborough, England. We employ approximately 40 staff and a team of volunteers across England and Wales.

Graduate Trainee

Peterborough

£19,000 per annum

The Leprosy Mission England and Wales (TLMEW) is a leading international Christian development organisation with over 140 years’ experience and is part of the TLM worldwide family. TLMEW serve some of the most disadvantaged communities in 11 countries across Africa and Asia, raising the funds to provide life-changing health care, education, training, housing, clean water and job opportunities for people who have only ever known suffering and rejection.  

We require an innovative graduate to join our thriving organisation.

As part of our Graduate Development Programme you will: 

gain first hand experience of working in different departments and in particular  the Fundraising and Programmes teams
you will have the opportunity to explore and develop management skills through coaching opportunities
expect to visit at least one of the countries we work in
have a dedicated Graduate Development Mentor
be a full and active member of an integrated staff team

You will need:

a degree qualification (to have graduated in the last two years) preferably in a social change related subject 
full empathy with our Christian values and ethos
to be flexible and prepared to undertake a variety of roles during the two year Graduate Development Programme
excellent interpersonal skills and a ‘can do’ attitude

Employed on a two year fixed term contract, this is a full-time position based at Peterborough.
