The Leprosy Mission England and Wales (TLMEW) is a leading international Christian development organisation with more than 140 years’ experience and is part of the TLM worldwide family. TLMEW is active in 12 countries with more than 50 projects addressing the causes and consequences of leprosy, ranging from health and livelihoods to advocacy, water and sanitation.   

TLMEW’s purpose is to increase prayer support, awareness and understanding of leprosy and to achieve fundraising support targets in excess of £20 million over the next three years. 

Based in the Peterborough office, you will be responsible for securing new grants and repeat donations from trusts, foundations and corporate donors by developing positive relationships over the phone, through high quality written applications and face to face contact.  You will also be required to undertake one or two trips overseas per annum.   

You will have at least two years' proven experience within a fundraising or sales account management role.  Passionate about the work of TLMEW you will enjoy building relationships and will be confident to make the “ask”.  You will have proven research skills, be self motivated with the capacity to work as part of a team, cross team and independently. Empathy with the Christian ethos of the organisation is essential.
