'Yet regard the prayer of Your servant and his supplication, O Lord my God, and listen to the cry and the prayer which Your servant is praying before You today.'

The Leprosy Mission is motivated by God's concern for the poor. We are a Mission born and cradled in prayer; nourished on prayer and prayer has been the foundation of our success.
We invite you to join with us in praying for our worldwide concerns.

PRAISE & THANKS:
-
Give thanks with us for those who have left a
legacy to The Leprosy Mission. Their names are
recorded in our Legators' Book of Remembrance.
-
Give thanks for new staff recently started
at the England & Wales office. Pray that they
will quickly settle into their roles. Ask God for
wisdom for them
-
Give thanks for our faithful volunteers. Pray
that God will continue to inspire them as
they raise awareness about the causes and
consequences of leprosy
-
We are so grateful to everyone who generously
gives their time and energy to support the
Mission's work. Thank God this week for each of
our volunteers

PRAYER REQUESTS:
-
World Leprosy Day - 29 Jan
Ask that this special day will raise awareness
about leprosy around the world and here in the
UK. Pray that the Lord will bless each service
and event.
-
We have published a new legacy guide
'A Will to give a Legacy of Love',
together with a DVD about our work
narrated by Wendy Craig. Please pray
that these new resources are well
received and effective.
-
Please remember in prayer our area
co-ordinators as they travel around the
country to visit churches and speak about
our work. Ask God to protect, bless and
guide them.
-
Our theme for 2012 is Transformation. Ask that
this year God will give The Leprosy Mission
grace, wisdom and resources to continue the
transforming ministry that Jesus began over
2,000 years ago
-
Please pray that our new range of
alternative gifts, will be well received, serve
to inform people about our work and be a great
blessing for people affected by leprosy
