PRAYER REQUESTS:

PRAY FOR NIGER IN THIS CHALLENGING TIME
During this period of the planting season
people have run out of grain. August and
September are usually the most difficult.
Things should start to get better from October
when the harvest will be due. There has been
good rain this year and it is expected that the
harvest will be good.

The Leprosy Mission helps to alleviate the
famine crisis through funds made available to
people affected by leprosy from the food security
project, including activities like the grain bank,
and provision of grain to the aged and most
disabled who have no means of support. We also
have a food for work project for individuals who
have no grain.

The food crisis is very severe this year
because of poor harvest of grain last year.

Thank you for your support for Niger.

  • Pray for the Walk of Hope along the White
Cliffs of Dover, taking place on Saturday
4 September.  Pray for safety and good
weather and that everyone  will enjoy the day
and raise good sponsorship income for
    The Leprosy Mission.

  • Please pray for TLM Trading, which helps
support people with disabilities and crafts
people affected by leprosy through the sale
of their goods, alongside many other items.
Ask for a good, steady income and a blessing
on all the staff who work with and for TLM
    Trading.

  • Pray that the good working relationships
between The Leprosy Mission in Niger and
    the Government National Leprosy Programme
will lead to an expansion of leprosy and
community projects, and for a real,
life-changing impact for those with leprosy.

Thank you for praying for the work of The Leprosy Mission
