After treating her leprosy, The Leprosy Mission gave Vennila financial assistance to buy a cow. Selling the milk gives her regular income. Vennila’s hands and feet are anaesthetic, making her vulnerable to ulcers. But she has the respect of her family and neighbours and is able to educate her children.
