Help set up a self-help group

A friend in need

Leprosy and poverty go hand in hand. Self-help groups help people make a way out of poverty. These women contribute to a communal bank account and collectively decide how best to spend it. Leprosy Mission staff set up and administrate the groups and help them gain access to their rights.

£175 will pay for the setting up and administration of a self-help group.

Usually your gift will be applied exactly as described, but sometimes it will be used to support our work in a complimentary way.
