Jobs for the boys (and girls)
The Leprosy Mission’s six vocational training centres in India offer a wide range of courses including mechanics, electronics, tailoring, carpentry and printing. Graduates are placed locally as apprentices or offered business loans. In 2005 almost 2,000 young people from leprosy backgrounds were given training.
£50 will buy training materials to help The Leprosy Mission train more people. |
