HOW YOU CAN HELP
All items we receive are sold to aid the work of The Leprosy Mission. To ensure the most is made of your gift, it is sometimes necessary to divide it up, combine it with others or sell it in various other ways. It is therefore impossible for us to say what an individual gift realises. Whenever possible, we will sell direct to collectors but failing this, items will be sold at auction or to the trade. We also have beginners packets of stamps and coins which can be sold in schools or at church events etc.
Here's how to prepare and send the stamps to us.
| When posting your gift, please ensure that it is weighed and bears the correct postage. Royal Mail charges us the amount due for underpaid items plus £1. |
 |
| Wherever possible please ensure stamps on paper have no more than 5mm of single thickness border around each edge.
Stamps off paper are equally welcome, but please ensure that they are fully clear of any backing. To obtain their value, stamps off paper will at some point have to be sorted. This can easily be done at the soaking stage and you can help immensely by doing this.

Soaking can also save on your postage costs to us, but please be sure to take care that the stamps are not damaged through the hasty removal of the paper or over soaking of bulk lots.
Please do not mix stamps off paper with those still on their backing.
