BBC Radio 4 Appeal for Mozambique
We're delighted that Dame Darcey Bussell will share her experiences of meeting people affected by leprosy in Mozambique as part of a BBC Radio 4 Appeal, beginning on Sunday 11 April.
While on holiday with her family, Darcey took the opportunity to visit Leprosy Mission projects, meeting staff and the people you support. This has such an impact on her that she was keen to support the Unconditional Appeal and spread the word about how you can partner with a network of Leprosy Changemakers to work towards a future free from leprosy, disability and stigma for their communities.
Tune in to Radio 4 on Sunday 11 April at 7.54am and 9.25pm, or on Thursday 15 April at 3.27pm, to hear Darcey talk about Maria, one of the Leprosy Changemakers who's determined to make a difference in the lives of others.
Until 24 April, the UK government is doubling donations made to the Unconditional Appeal - including those made to the Radio 4 Appeal - so every gift you give will have twice the impact in Mozambique.
